Lending Library
All activities can be rented from Ashland SWCD. You must fill out an Educational Loan Form and when bringing back activities please ensure they are clean and have the leftover supplies included.
Snow Use:
Used to show the differences in snow cover using the forest diorama. Then students will discuss how different organisms affect how the ground is protected from snow. By the end students should be able to describe how people use snow, and relationships between these uses, forests, and snow.

Silt: A Dirty Word
Used to show how sand, silt, or gravel can affect the flow of water. By the end of the activity students should be able to describe how sand, silt, or both affects water flow and identify human activities that add sand, silt, or both to surface water.
